Under the patronage of
the President of Minia University Prof. Dr. Essam El-Dien Farahat, Vice
President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dean of the
Faculty Prof. Dr. Safaa Abdel Rahman, and Vice Faculty for Community Service
and Environmental Development Prof. Dr. Iqbaal Abdel Rahim, “the Rehabilitation
and Continuous Training Center” organized a training course entitled” How to
Take Care of the Older Adults”.
This course is part of
a series of training programs held by the Center for Community Service and
Environmental Development to enhance communication with the external society
and to promote a culture of integrated welfare for the elderly. The aim is to
contribute to improving their life quality and to support sustainable development
efforts in the health sector.
The course continued
for three days and discussed various topics related to providing helathy,
physical, and social” care for the elderly. It also addressed effective ways of
interacting with them and methods of preventing common health problems, in
addition to the practical training on basic nursing skills
The Course was attended
by a huge number of participants, who praised the pioneering role of the
Faculty of Nursing in promoting health awareness and providing knowledge and
training support to the community.
