The Department of Nursing and Internal Medicine at the Faculty of Nursing - Minia University looks forward to being distinguished among the different scientific departments in the faculty and the corresponding colleges in Egyptian universities through the advanced performance in providing nursing services and scientific research excellence on the national, regional and international levels.
Dept Mission:
The Department of Internal and Surgical Nursing aims at graduating nursing staff who are distinguished, knowledgeable, skilled and professional in providing comprehensive nursing care of high quality based on the advanced scientific practice and the method of critical thinking to meet the needs and demands of the labor market locally and globally.
Objectives of Dept
Accurate analysis of scientific and training needs in line with the needs of various health services through scientific research to ensure the optimal return of these places.
Updating, developing and characterizing curricula according to the National Reference Standards for First and Second Grade Students.
Raising the scientific and skilled level of the faculty members of the teaching staff through the development and updating of scientific research methods and the work of seminars and training courses.
Raising the efficiency of the performance of students within the adult nursing laboratories in the college and the training places in different health services
Interact with the community and its participation in solving its health problems and improving the health level of all its members.
Participate in supporting the continuous learning process of nursing staff at Minia University Hospitals through holding seminars, protocols of cooperation and continuous training courses.
Educating students about the problems faced by the nursing profession and analyzing them and contributing to solving them to improve the profession.
Providing health education services to patients and non-patients.
Keeping pace with the scientific development in the field of general and private nursing and the field of continuing health education.
