In light of the Faculty of Nursing’s commitment to supporting the student activities and developing the scientific research and innovation skills among students, the faculty actively participated in the activities of Second Student Conference of the Technological Nursing Institute in Beni Suef, which was held entitled” Nursing Challenges as Part of Smart and Digital Health Care (Advanced Techniques and Security Issues”.
The conference was chaired by the Dean of Institute Prof. Dr. Sahar Aboud, and organized with the ongoing support and guidance of Minia University President Prof. Dr. Essam El-Deen Sadiq Farahat, Vice President Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mahmoud, and under the auspices of the Dean of Faculty of Nursing Prof. Dr. Safaa Mohammed Abdel Rahman.
This initiative reflects the university administration’ keenness to enhance the students’ participation in the various academic events.
The conference addressed a number of the significant academic topics, including the latest Cybersecurity applications in Health area, the use of the AI techniques in Nursing, the moral ethics in the use of technology in Health care, the challenges facing nursing profession amid digital transformation, and the use of smart devices in managing medical data.
The distinguished participation of faculty students resulted in winning of student/ Amr Abdel Sattar- Fourth Year – with the award for the Best Student Presentation for his academic research, titled” "Evaluating the accuracy of blood pressure measurement knowledge and skills among nursing students"
