In line with Minia
University’s commitment to community service and environmental development and
within the framework of the presidential initiative” Beginning” to support the
most underprivileged villages, the
Faculty of Nursing at Minia University, participated in the activities of the
integrated environmental convoy launched to Al-Zawara village in Maghagha
center to provide health services and integrated awareness for villagers.
The convoy was
organized under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Essam El-Dien Sadiq Farahat the
University President, Prof. Dr. Ayman Mohammed Hassanein Vice Dean for
Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Safaa Mohammed Abdel
Rahman Dean of Faculty of Nursing, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ahmed
Azz General Supervisor of convoys.
The Faculty of Nursing
provided several awareness symposiums as part of the convoy activities,
included important topics as the Indiscriminate
use of medicines and good nutrition during pregnancy, presented by Prof. Dr.
Heba Atif Osman, as well as a symposium on “ Poisoning, Bleeding, and Wounds “,
delivered by Dr. Mohammed Ali Kamel.
These activities were
launched under the supervision of Prof. DR. Iqbaal Abdel Rahim Vice Dean for
Community Service and Environment Development, emphasizing the faculty’s commitment
to providing the human and scientific contributions to serve the local community
and enhance health awareness among citizens.
